GrowthLine File Cleaner helps Shopify merchants clean supplier files before importing products into Shopify.

Data We Process
GrowthLine File Cleaner processes supplier CSV and XLSX files uploaded by the merchant, parsed preview rows, column mappings, validation results, generated Shopify import CSV files, change reports, and catalogue comparison summaries.
The app stores Shopify shop identifiers, plan and billing status received through Shopify, usage counters, saved supplier profiles, import job metadata, and generated artifact references.
If a paid-plan merchant uses BYO AI-assisted mapping, the app stores provider preferences, usage metadata, and encrypted saved provider API keys only when the merchant chooses to save a key. Run-only provider keys are used for that mapping request and are not stored.
When a merchant starts an AI-assisted mapping request, the app sends bounded supplier column headers, sample values, and Shopify target-field context to the merchant-selected AI provider. Provider processing is governed by the merchant's account and terms with that provider.
The app does not request customer or order scopes and is not designed to store buyer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, orders, or payment information.
Storage Providers
Application data is stored in Postgres. Uploaded supplier files and generated CSV artifacts are stored in Cloudflare R2.
Access to stored files is limited to authenticated app workflows for the merchant's Shopify shop.
Retention and Deletion
Import jobs, uploaded supplier files, generated CSV files, and issue reports are retained for up to 90 days unless the merchant discards them earlier.
When Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook after uninstall, the app deletes shop-owned database records and referenced Cloudflare R2 objects according to the app's privacy cleanup workflow.
Merchant Responsibility
Merchants are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload supplier files and for reviewing generated Shopify import CSV files before importing them into Shopify.
